Design Consultations
A hands-on session to answer your questions, offer expert guidance, and bring fresh perspective to your space.
Move Your Project Forward With Confidence
One of the things I hear most often is how overwhelming design decisions can feel. So many small choices—each one affecting the next. It’s easy to second-guess if it’ll all come together the way you imagined… or even know where to start.
I'm Leah! I know how much your home impacts how you feel and function, and I’m here to help you create a space that feels like a sanctuary.
Before launching my design studio, I worked with a semi-custom home builder where clients often chose flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, and paint in a single day. It was a lot—but I developed a process to simplify each step. By the end of the day, clients felt confident in their selections and loved the cohesive result.
Now, I run an award-winning studio focused on large-scale renovations and custom homes—but I missed supporting homeowners in a more accessible, quick-turnaround way.
That’s where design consultations come in.
These one-on-one sessions bring that same get-it-done mindset—with professional guidance to move your project forward.
What We’ll Cover
We’ll tailor the session to your project—come with your questions, and I’ll bring the expertise to guide us through.
Some of the areas we often focus on:
Selecting finishes with confidence
Reviewing layout and flow
Sourcing key furniture pieces
Flagging costly design mistakes before you commit
Mapping out clear next steps so you can move forward with ease
Session Types
In-Person Consultation — $595 + HST
Available in Collingwood, Barrie, Muskoka + surrounding areas
This session is ideal if you're mid-reno, making design decisions, or planning a major furniture refresh. We’ll walk through your space together, troubleshoot problem areas, and make confident choices that bring clarity and momentum to your project.
After we meet, you’ll receive a tailored summary outlining the key takeaways and next steps—so you’re not left trying to remember it all. Most designers skip this step, but I believe it’s essential to making your investment actionable.
Because each in-person consult is a half-day commitment (including travel, prep, and follow-up), I offer a limited number per month. Openings are released on a rolling 6-week basis and tend to book quickly!
Virtual Consultation — $350 + HST
Held via Google Meet, available worldwide
Whether you're planning a renovation, selecting finishes, or styling a space—this session is designed to give you focused, professional advice from the comfort of your home. We’ll review your plans, photos, or inspiration together and work through your questions in real time.
You’ll also receive a written summary after the call outlining what we covered, along with clear next steps. It’s a level of follow-up most designers skip, but I want you to walk away with clarity and a plan you can act on.
Virtual consults book up quickly and are offered on a rolling 6-week schedule.

Huntsville Cottage Renovation
Why did I not do this earlier?! Leah totally got my style and she honed in on the good companies that reflected my style. I think of the hours and money I've spent in the past buying things that just didn't work. Now I feel confident in my purchases. Leah was so amazing to work with - she's very professional, yet very open, warm and friendly with a good sense of humour. It was a pleasure to have her in my home.

Consultations are one-time sessions designed to give you expert advice and a clear path forward for your project. Whether you’re stuck on finishes, space planning, or just need a designer’s eye, we’ll focus on the areas where you need the most support.
After your session, you’ll receive a summary of our conversation with notes, recommendations, shoppable links, and helpful imagery to support your next steps. This summary completes the scope of the consultation. If you feel like you’d benefit from additional support as your project progresses, you’re always welcome to book another session.

Our process starts with a quick form where you can upload photos, floor plans, Pinterest boards—anything that helps us understand your space. The more info, the better! Leah will review everything in the 15 minutes prior to your consultation to make the most of your time together.

Each session is client-led, so we’ll focus on what matters most to you. Some clients want to dive deep—narrowing down specific paint colours, sourcing key furniture pieces, or styling a bookshelf. Others use the time to get big-picture clarity or talk through layout ideas and renovation planning.
Whatever stage you're in, we’ll make the most of our time together and tailor the session to your priorities.
-
If we're in a good flow and need a bit more time, sessions can be extended by up to 1 additional hour. Extra time is billed at $45 per 15-minute increment, and you'll receive an invoice shortly after our meeting, before your summary is delivered.
